ABOUT THEROLE
As a Team Leader at a Barchester carehome, you'll help to make our residents' lives stimulating andfulfilling so that we can deliver the person-centred care andsupport they deserve. Always focusing on respecting our residents'independence, privacy, dignity and choice, you'll lead andsupervise our Carers and Senior Carers with the support of aRegistered Nurse or Care Practitioner. We'll rely on you to makesure individual care plans are followed to the letter so that wecan achieve the highest standards. You'll also ensure each residenthas lots of quality one-to-one time.

The role ofTeam Leader here also involves some clinical responsibilities,including recording observations on things like weight and bloodpressure, and carrying out simple wound dressing procedures. Acrosseverything you do, you'll be a role model for your team and someoneour residents and their families can trust to provide a safe,reassuring and happy environment.

ABOUT YOU
You'll need senior-level care experience to join us aTeam Leader. You'll also have supervised others and developed agood understanding of how to provide clinical care for the olderperson. As well as that, we'll look for a Level 3 NVQ or AdvancedDiploma in Health & Social Care plus a willingness to undertakethe assessor qualification. Enthusiastic, tenacious and full ofintegrity, your caring approach and strong communication skillsmean you always inspire trust in others.
