Infrastructure Consultant (Citrix Migration Specialist) - 6/12 Month Contract

As an Infrastructure Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the migration of Legacy Citrix environments to modern infrastructure solutions. Leveraging your expertise in Citrix, Xen Desktop, Windows Servers, and Active Directory, you will play a key role in resolving complex issues, performing upgrades, and providing 3rd Line Support to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' IT environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of Legacy Citrix environments to modern Citrix solutions, including Xen Desktop, in alignment with industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing infrastructure to identify migration requirements and develop migration strategies.
• Design and implement Citrix migration plans, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Configure and optimize Citrix Xen Desktop environments to deliver virtualized desktops and applications.
• Provide 3rd Line Support to resolve complex issues related to Citrix, Windows Servers, and Active Directory.
• Perform upgrades and patches to Citrix, Windows Servers, and AD systems to maintain security and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration and integration of Citrix solutions.
• Document migration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Citrix migration projects, with a focus on migrating old to new Citrix environments.
• SC Clearance
• Strong proficiency in Citrix technologies, including Xen Desktop, XenApp, and Citrix ADC (formerly NetScaler).
• Solid understanding of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory (AD) services.
• Proven track record of providing 3rd Line Support and resolving complex issues in enterprise environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Relevant certifications such as Citrix Certified Expert (CCE), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, and Active Directory are highly desirable.
