About the role
We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our Data Engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining and enhancing our technical service offerings, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
As a Developer in our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing technical service operations supporting data pipelines throughout the Cloud Data Platform. With a focus on problem-solving, adaptability, and analytical skills. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will gain a deep understanding of business imperatives and technical requirements to ensure seamless service delivery.
Your role will involve taking ownership of BAU (Business as Usual) service delivery, where you'll leverage your analytical skills to analyse trends, identify key themes, and propose innovative solutions to improve service delivery. You will develop and maintain code for BAU changes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
Furthermore, you will coordinate with DBAs and developers to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and optimize processes. Your involvement in small development projects will allow you to contribute to the full life cycle from code creation to deployment and support.
